Reviews

"Willems places his characters in a cleverly constructed diorama shown on the title page, and Nanette's antics are, oh so expressively portrayed, in brightly coloured vignettes, the whole thing being orchestrated by the variety of fonts used. Extra servings are sure to be the order of the day when this is presented to young audiences - it certainly was with several of mine. In a word, a KRACKER!" * Red Reading Hub * "Set in a perfectly handcrafted-paper-modelled French village, is an irresistible tale [...]" * Primary Times * "I laughed out loud, got my tongue in a twist and wanted to share with anyone willing to listen. A delight to read over and again." * Armadillo * A story told entirely in giggle-inducing rhyme and quirky illustrations, Nanette's Baguette is Mo Willems' latest book, containing a gentle and whimsical message about responsibility and being truthful. * BookTrust * "It is an absolute joy to read aloud, and one can't help but feel exhilarated and liberated when reading this wonderfully joyous text." * LibraryMice.com *
