Abnett has also written more than 30 best-selling Warhammer 40,000 novels and various Marvel U.K. titles, including Death's Head and Knights of Pendragon. Together, they are responsible for galvanizing Marvel's contemporary genre of cosmic comics with the Annihilation and War of Kings events, and series such as Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy. The pair is equally at home with more terrestrial fare - including Iron Man/Thor, and Heroes for Hire and its sequel Villains for Hire. Rising star Wellinton Alves made his Marvel debut on Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: The First Death. The Brazilian artist's other credits include Nightwing and Teen Titans Annual for DC; Lady Death for Avatar; and Nova, War of Kings: Ascension and Thunderbolts for Marvel. Daniel Govar has created concept artwork and illustrations for video games, films, magazines and books. He helped develop the SciFi Channel animated series Eclipse, with filmmaker Russell Wicks, and Chi-Chian, with director/musician Voltaire. Govar co-founded the website ThereAndBackAgain.net, dedicated
