Bill, is the COO of a midsize production company. His boss, Tom, the CEO, is very concerned about the lack of growth and profitability under Bill over the last couple of years. Tom has given him a 60 day deadline to turn things around. As with most organizations, there is a push for results but a lack of CLARITY on where we are going and what we are trying to achieve. There is also some confusion on what we are responsible for and accountable for in our current position. As Bill takes on the challenge he quickly discovers the lack of CLARITY across all parts of the organization. No one is communicating. No one is really looking at the metrics and results, or lack of results, in the business. It seems as if all departments and managers are siloed and working independently of the rest of the organization. If he is going to save his job and turn things around he is going to need to quickly begin to understand the problems and make adjustments. He will need to get out into the business, meet employees and managers. Begin to understand where we are and what needs to be done to adjust and improve our organization and our results. Author Biography
Bobby Mink is from Atlanta, Georgia and has been in business management for over 30 years. From Project Manager and General Manager to Vice President of Operations and Development as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Chief Operations Officer. Mink has had the opportunity to manage all types and levels of the industry as well as managing sales and marketing. Mink has managed and grown several startup opportunities using strategic planning, fundamental systems and tactics to achieve the desired outcome and turn around opportunities for struggling companies. Through his corporate coaching, Bobby has helped solidify corporate structure, communication, accountability, clarity and teamwork for countless organizations. As the owner and Head of Coach for Choice Consulting and Management, LLC, Bobby has had the opportunity to coach business owners on how to grow their companies, set up streamlined processes, effective communication, accountability, increased profitability, and customer service by putting in place good, fundamental proven business principles that help individuals and organizations reach their full potential and inspire that change with passion. Mink has worked with all types of organizations ranging in size from small start ups with $100,000 in revenue to over companies with over $80,000,000 in revenue and beyond. Mink has been an instructor for the NAHB for over 12 years. He is also a national instructor for RLI, Real Estate Land Institute, SEBC, Southeastern Builder Conference and the IBS, International Builder Show. Bobby is the author of his book CHOICES and his new book Clarity. He is a John Maxwell Team Member, and International Speaker and Coach, DISC facilitator, Certified Church Growth Coach and holds several national designations.
