Description

Fans of Agnese Baruzzi's imaginative board books will "gobble up" this lively book about a wolf whose eyes and appetite are bigger than his stomach. In this hilarious lift-the-flap board book, a HUNGRY wolf is ready to devour whatever animal crosses his path, with a quick "chomp, chomp!" But when he gobbles up one creature who's a little more challenging than he imagines, the wolf may have to rethink his diet altogether. Children will love lifting the flaps of this book to find out who's on the menu, and what happens when one hungry wolf meets his match.

Reviews

"minedition books for babies and toddlers raise the bar for books for young readers bringing bright bold artwork with just-right stories and concepts from authors and artists from around the world....Perfect for learning basic concepts....Beautifully built to last." - Mom and More "A delightfully silly romp." -Kirkus Reviews "Looking for a way to get your little one (and maybe even older kids) to eat their fruit and vegetables? Open up Agnese Baruzzi's story wide and watch the laughs tumble out of readers...Baruzzi will make kids laugh all the way to the healthy food." -- Celebrate Picture Books "Know me and know that I'm a big time fan of books in which the protagonist either eats others or is eaten themselves.....Everyone is freed and the wolf is encouraged to consider veggies in the future. Colorful and kooky by turns." - Elizabeth Bird, A Fuse #8 Production/SLJ.com, Great Board Books of 2020 feature "Clever and sophisticated ... the flaps seem like they'd hold up for the long haul. Author did a great job of building up a bit of suspense, so would be a good chance to do some playful predicting....could prompt some discussion about the adage of eyes being bigger than stomachs." - Youth Services Book Review
