Light is the original phenomenon which has been made visible in the works of Heinz Mack. The search for the possibilities for visualising light kept the multi - faceted oeuvre of this artist from the Zero circle ev er open to new ideas for half a century and provided inspiration with regard to both form and technique. There is nothing which makes people so aware of life as our existence in light. Heinz Mack (*1931) was addicted to light as if to a magic potion which inspired him to innovative experiments with highly varied experimental arrangements. His works break through the traditional genres of art and add unknown techniques and materials to the creative aspect. This book was compiled by the art ist himself from his entire creative oeuvre.
