Author Biography

Jackie Kerin is an award-winning author of non-fiction illustrated books for children. She has a particular interest in nature and history. Jackie is also a storyteller working in the oral tradition and spends much of every year travelling in Australia and overseas telling tales. When not telling or writing stories, she likes riding her bike, gardening and bird watching. Annie White illustrates and sometimes writes stories for children. She studied Art and Design then worked in design studios and the advertising industry before moving into illustration full time. Annies picture books have appeared on the CBCA Notables list and her illustrations are known for their expression and movement.
