Kylie Covark is an inaugural recipient of a mentorship through Raising Literacy Australias Emerging Author and Illustrator Mentoring Project and is an advocate for childhood literacy. She has been awarded first prize in the CYA Conference Picture Book Competition (Aspiring) and the Writers Unleashed Picture Book Writing Competition. Her picture book, Float or Sink?, was released by Ford Street Publishing in 2021.
