Description
The book world has changed dramatically thanks to the digital revolution. Now, anyone with a great book idea and the time to write it can become a published author. But what happens when your masterpiece goes out into the world? How do you make your book stand out from the crowd and find your readers? Book publicity - that is, the exchange of quality content for access to a media organisation's audience - is crucial in stimulating sales. The good news is, do-it-yourself book publicity has never been easier, thanks to The DIY Book PR Guide. Publicist Emma Noble distills her 15 years of experience in promoting fiction and non-fiction into one handy, easy-to-follow guide to creating your own tailormade campaign. It also introduces the HAPPIER principle of book publicity, a tried-and-tested program that really gets results. Follow its recommendations and you will soon be earning your book the media coverage it deserves, and selling copies as a result.
Author Biography
Emma Noble is the founder of Australian-based book PR company Noble Words. Emma could talk and read unusually early, so it was probably inevitable that she would build a career out of talking about books. She joined the publishing world in London in 1999 and, since then, has worked in the UK and Australia promoting debut and established writers of fiction and non-fiction, as well as booksellers, book festivals and literary prizes. Drawing on her years of PR experience, The DIY Book PR Guide is her first book.
