Author Biography

Joelle Thomson is one of New Zealand's foremost wine writers. She wrote her first wine column in 1994, and today is the wine writer for The Dominion Post in Wellington. She is the editor of Drinksbiz and contributes to New Zealand Wine Grower, among other publications. A wine educator at the NZ School of Food & Wine, Joelle has judged wine competitions in New Zealand and Australia, and is a member of the British-based Circle of Wine Writers. Her other books include Celebrating New Zealand Wine, the best-selling annual Buyer's Wine Guide series (New Holland 1999-2005) and The Wild Bunch: Movers, shakers and groundbreakers of the New Zealand wine industry.
