Alfie does not seem too worried when a yak appears at his house on a bicycle but when the yak says "Yuck!" to everything that Alfie offers him to eat he thinks him very rude! A simple but expressive story of just over a hundred words, which parents and children will love to read out loud.
Author Biography
Alex grew up near Winchester and as a child loved reading books, such as Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. She studied maths at University but after a career as an actuary she decided to retrain as a journalist and her love of writing grew! She is now a proactive member of SCBWI. Emma Levey is a picture book author/illustrator based in the heart of Cardiff, South Wales. Emma has many interests but her passions are chickens, reading and pottery.
