Author Biography

DAVID HARMER was a primary school headteacher for a zillion years so he knows a lot about monsters! After he stopped being a head monster he started working in schools and libraries all over the country helping children and grown ups to write poems and stories. He also likes making people laugh and writing poems that everyone can join in with, as well as some more serious ones. David has published many poetry collections for children, as well as hundreds of poems in anthologies. He lives with his wife Paula in Doncaster. They have two grown up daughters, four cats and two dogs. And a monster that lives in the garden.
