Reviews

"Moseley presents a well organized synthesis of the works of Aristotle in this 21st volume of the Continuum Library of Educational Thought. The author begins with Aristotle's early intellectual influences in education and in culture. Moseley organizes the works of Aristotle into applicable theory and explores the great philosopher's impact on various educational systems throughout history. These works made their way around the Hellenic world during the rise of the Roman Empire, were embraced by Catholicism in the middle ages, condemned by the early scientists, and today are intensely studied in universities. Moseley is the author of several books, including An Introduction to Political Philosophy and An A-Z of Philosophy." -Eithne O'Leyne, BOOK NEWS, Inc.
