Reviews

"Once again the king of kids' horror has created a masterpiece to scare the pants off you!" -- Tami Wylie, Book Reviewer "This tense adventure story, with its environmental twist, is the best (and most terrifying!) in the series yet." -- NE Book Awards "Fast-paced, quick to get to the action and utterly unputdownable ... a delicious combination of hide-behind-a-cushion creepy and can't-stop-reading ... Dan is a master of suspense writing and knows exactly how to combine that with sinister plot-twists that grip children and adults alike." -- Bonkers About Books, Blog "A welcome return to Crooked Oak where Pete, Krish and Nancy are once again on alert for yet another threat to the wellbeing of the town ... by the end of the story you might well want to make a hasty visit to the nearest garden centre and check-out what power tools they have available." -- The Letterpress Project "Get ready to have your spine well and truly tingled in a terrifying Day of the Triffids-inspired thriller ... Expect thrills, chills and spills... but best read in daylight hours!" -- Book-marked
