Author Biography

Paul Trevillion is a world-famous sports artist, recognized as the 'Leonardo of Line' and the 'Master of Movement'. He is best known for his 1960s 'Roy of the Rovers' comic art realism and for being the creator of the iconic 'You Are the Ref' referee conundrum comic strip. Trevillion has met and drawn many of the sport's biggest names, and his work has appeared in museums, galleries and almost every national newspaper in the UK. Keith Hackett was a FIFA International Referee from 1981 to 1991, and was the referee for the 100th FA Cup Final in 1981. He is one of the most trusted referees in footballing history, and is counted as one of the top 100 referees of all time by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
