Author Biography

Sue Monroe is best known for her work as a daily presenter on the BBC's children's show CBeebies. An experienced and popular television and radio presenter on a variety of programmes for the BBC and GMTV, Sue now writes (drinks tea and eats Kit-Kats) from the children's shop that she owns called P.J. and The Hare (of course) based in Sussex, where she lives with her husband John, and a mad cocker spaniel called Cotton. Angela Hewitt is one of those rare adults who has kept her vivid, childlike imagination, and this is reflected in her illustrations. Largely self-taught in illustration, she has been drawing since a young age, and with the support of her mum eventually made art her dream career. She loves a good book shop and can spend hours browsing the shelves - children's books being her favourite!
