Chandran Nair is the founder and CEO of the Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT). || Pankaj Mishra was born in northwest India in 1969 and lives in London and Mashobra, India. He has published fiction and non-fiction and writes for the New Yorker, the New York Review of Books, the New York Times Book Review, and the Guardian.
