Reviews

With engaging characters, introductory questions, themes that capture and sustain young children's interest and simple, but informative storylines together with bright, uncluttered images, touches of gentle humour and tools of the trade frontpapers, these sturdily bound books are just right for the heavy handling they are likely to receive by enthusiastic preschoolers. * Books for Keeps * This first taste of farming will be loved by parents and children alike and is a great addition to any early years collection. * School Library Journal * Young children will enjoy the simple story as well as the bold, black lines and flat colors of the digital illustrations. * Booklist * Steady and bright, this will appeal to toddlers looking for comfort... * Kirkus Reviews * Stanley is cute and adorable, and he is depicted in all sorts of scenarios which will interest young children. There is always work to be done on the farm - and Stanley is sowing the seeds. He needs to look after them to make them grow, and then he needs to harvest his crop. A simply told story which explains the crop cycle in carefully selected language accompanied by simple but descriptive pictures. * Parents in Touch *
