From picture books or young adult fiction, Penny Jaye writes to explore themes that matter. The Other Brother is a picture book about belonging and the power of compassion. Penny lives in western Sydney with her family. Penny also writes as Penny Reeve and Ella Shine. After spending 20 years playing with clay, Heidi Cooper Smith rediscovered her love for illustration when three small children and a picture book collection burst into her life. Soon after illustrating her first book, Heidi started writing. Her favourite stories are those with humour and whimsy.
