Description
'Yet another reason why Australian audiences have fallen in love with McDonald's novels.' Weekly Times Lauren Ramsey is a teacher whose mantra is to never let a child fall through the cracks. But Lauren is so concerned about the welfare of a little boy in her kindy class she doesn't realise her own daughter, Skye, needs help. The only person who seems to listen to fourteen-year-old Skye is Tamara Thompson, the manager of her favourite clothes shop. Tamara remembers all too vividly what it's like to be a troubled teen. Lauren, Tamara and Skye are all searching for a happier future, but finding it may lie in resolving secrets from their pasts . . . From the bestselling author of Crimson Dawn and Suddenly One Summer comes a moving and intriguing novel about love, friendship and families. 'A touching tale of love and letting go.' Yours Magazine

Reviews'...a telling and loving story of friendship, crisis, family and the eternal bond that lies between mothers and their children, regardless of the circumstance. Beautifully written, Fleur McDonald has shown a depth of understanding about a very topical issue bringing a very emotional component of modern history, often kept locked away within families, into the light.' - Bluewolf Reviews
