Author Biography

Located in Santa Rosa, California, the Charles M. Schulz Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to giving depth to the funny pages through the preservation, display, and interpretation of the life and art of Peanuts comic strip creator, Charles M. Schulz. Visitors can laugh at Schulz's original comic strips and view the largest collection of original Peanuts art work in the world, learn about the art of cartooning and Schulz's role in its development, view a re-creation of Schulz's art studio, watch animated Peanuts specials and documentaries in the theater, draw their own cartoons in the hands-on education room, and more. Benjamin L. Clark is a writer and museum curator at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. Since 2003, he worked with museums in Texas, Oklahoma, Montana, Nebraska, and California, and has served on several professional committees and associations in the industry. Nat Gertler is an American writer known for his comic books and books about comics, including four on Charles Schulz's Peanuts. Gertler is the publisher of About Comics, and founded an annual cartoonists' challenge, 24 Hour Comics Day. He has been nominated for two Eisner Awards.
