Description

Successfully navigate a low-FODMAP diet and reduce the symptoms of IBS and other conditions. The Low-FODMAP IBS Solution Plan and Cookbook provides an easy-to-understand introduction to the low-FODMAP diet, a 4-week meal plan to guide you through the first phases, and more than 100 delicious low-FODMAP, gluten-free recipes that can be easily prepared in less than 30 minutes-with sound, results-based advice from internationally recognised physician and researcher Rachel Pauls, MD, who uses the low-FODMAP diet to cure her own debilitating IBS symptoms. If you're one of the 45 million Americans suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), you know that eating food may be the start of a vicious cycle. Gas, bloating, cramping, and diarrhoea can result in missed workdays, skipped social events, and impaired intimacy. It often means a lower quality of life filled with anxiety and isolation. But it doesn't have to be this way. There is now a well-established, medically proven, breakthrough treatment for IBS. This new treatment-the low-FODMAP diet-is significantly more effective than any drug, diet, or over-the-counter remedy. Dozens of studies over the past decade have confirmed the effectiveness of a low-FODMAP diet. By implementing this diet, IBS sufferers can feel better in a few short days. FODMAPs are carbohydrates that are difficult to digest. For people with digestive problems, they can trigger a host of uncomfortable symptoms. By simply eliminating high-FODMAP foods (like garlic and onions) from their diet, IBS sufferers can heal their gut and improve their health. This book shows you how. Inside, you'll find guidance and recipes that put you back in control. Enjoy mealtime once again with recipes such as: Lemon Blueberry Mug Muffin Make-Ahead Breakfast Burritos Carrot Soup with Coconut and Curry Lemon Chicken with Rotini and Vegetables Peanut Pad Thai One-Pot Ratatouille Cheese and Spinach Quesadillas Scrumptious Pumpkin Pie Energy Bites page Banana Chocolate Chip Oat Bars Chewy Brownie Cookies with Walnuts Make this book the start of a healthier and happier lifestyle-and a healthier and happier you!
