Author Biography

Eric Seltzer's The Long Dog received a starred review from the Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books. It is a Gryphon Honor Book and has been translated into Spanish. He has written a number of well-received early readers including the Doodle Dog series. His title Four Pups and a Worm is an IRA/CBC Children's Choice and has been translated into Chinese. Eric resides with his family in Michigan. David Creighton-Pester is an illustrator based in Hamilton, New Zealand. He is passionate about illustrating for children and is particularly excited by the opportunity to bring fun, imagination, and fantastically silly scenarios that expand the realms of reality to kids around the world. Aside from illustration, David also owns and creatively directs his graphic design company, Scorch Design, which has been in operation since 2009. David holds a bachelor's degree in computer graphic design from the University of Waikato and Wanganui Polytech.
