Description

Logan has always wanted a brother, but when his inventor mom builds him Java, a robot cousin, it's nothing but trouble, especially with the science fair coming up in Science No Fair! When Java becomes a ball hog, Logan's plan to win back the spotlight short circuits in Soccer Shocker! Next, in My Robot Ate My Homework Logan better stop using Java to do his work and hit the books so he doesn't flunk out. And in Phone-y Friends Java's attempt to find some friends of his own doesn't quite go as planned. Internationally bestselling author, Nancy Krulik and her daughter, Amanda Burwasser, team up with Mike Moran to introduce a new comedic pair that combines the literalness of Amelia Bedelia with a wacky modern edge, making for hours of laughter. And now the first four stories are available in one bottastic collection.

Reviews

Praise for the Project Droid series: "This quirky new chapter book series is fast-paced and full of Amelia Bedelia-style gags. Moran's black-and-white cartoon drawings add to the humor and appeal. Java is an endearingly naive and enthusiastic character, and Logan is believable as a frustrated kid trying to keep his cousin's robot nature a secret. VERDICT This entertaining new series will appeal to fans of funny stories and robots." -School Library Journal [F]unny enough to keep fledgling readers turning pages." -Kirkus Reviews on Science No Fair!
