Description

Contrary to modern display and popular belief, classical sculpture was not pristine white, but brightly coloured. This book allows you to (re-)colour some of the most famous artworks of classical antiquity (ranging in colour difficulty from beginner to advanced), while providing information on the use of colour in free-standing and architectural sculpture. Suitable for ages 16+, for an academic as well as general readership.
