Description

Kobolds & Cobblestones is a skirmish wargame for rumbles between gangs in the city of Ordinsport's seedy underbelly. Players hire gangs of criminals, thugs and enforcers from a number of classic Fantasy races, and attempt to take control of the underworld and establish themselves as the city's kingpins. Playing card-based mechanics and a cunning bribery element keep players on their toes, as a one-sided battle can turn around in a flash.

Reviews

One of the fascinating mechanics of this game (perfect for a game of crime and gang warfare) is that you use playing cards and poker hands to resolve all combat and other actions in the game. You even use the length and width of regular playing cards to measure distance. Neat! - Boing Boing / Wink The value of [Osprey Wargame] books is unbelievably good. Generally, $20 can get you an interesting ruleset with great artwork. - Jacob Stauttener, Must Contain Minis
