Scrappers: Post-Apocalyptic Skirmish Wargames

More than 150 years have passed since the apocalypse that nearly destroyed the Earth. Today, the planet is a torn remnant of its former glory, ravaged by nuclear fallout and mutagens. New lifeforms - Mutants and Synthetics - challenge True Humanity for dominance, while warring factions compete for survival and supremacy, and all must carve out their place in this brutal landscape, or else perish as billions before them. Scrappers is a skirmish miniatures game set in the wastelands, where players assemble Scrapper Crews and send them out to scavenge scraps of Ancient technology and battle rival factions. Explorers, cultists and raiders clash with mutated creatures, robotic soldiers and embittered True Humans in this wargame of salvage and survival in the ruins of the future.

Robert A. Faust has been a student of military history since childhood. He began painting and modeling miniatures by age ten, and has been wargaming with them for the past 30 years. His love for this hobby culminated in the creation of Brink of Battle: Skirmish Gaming Through the Ages, that was published by Strategic Elite in 2012 and was nominated in 2013 for an Origins Award for Best Historical Miniatures Game. In 2014 he and co-author Andrew Davies released Epic Heroes: Skirmish Gaming in the Realms of Fantasy, the first supplement for Brink of Battle. When not writing rules or painting miniatures, Robert enjoys playing the drums and spending time with his wife and two children. Andrew N. Davies is a California native and outdoor enthusiast with a penchant for Sci-Fi and Fantasy miniature wargaming. He enjoys hiking local mountain ranges or exploring the San Joaquin Delta. When Andrew does make his way back into civilization, setting aside the fishing poles, long bows and elk hides, he redirects that passion into his wargaming pursuits. For the last five years Andrew has been heavily involved in playing and contributing to Brink of Battle: Skirmish Gaming Through the Ages with game creator Robert Faust. Most recently, Andrew co-authored Epic Heroes: Skirmish Gaming in the Realms of Fantasy, the first supplement for Brink of Battle. David Auden Nash was born in Indiana, USA. He graduated with a BFA from DAAP at University of Cincinnati, and has been working in the illustration and design since 2008. He works primarily on board, card, and role-playing games, as well as books and video games.
