Reviews

Military terms are defined at each chapter's start, allowing readers to immerse themselves in an authentic special-ops mission. Short chapters and saturated full-page color illustrations make for a quick read, as does the action-packed plot. That said, the book's fairly mature content makes it fit best for middle-school reluctant readers. Utilizing contemporary issues, Bowen creates an exciting and modern story that will appeal to boys and girls with a taste for real-life adventure.-- "Booklist Online"
