Reviews

A fabulous book to work at, especially over the next months when indoor activities are needed more. * County Down Spectator * A fantastic manual on all aspects of comics-making. * Neill Cameron * A superb way to encourage imaginative creative writing. Broken down with simple step-by-step instructions, the topic is never daunting but makes children believe that they really can write comics. A practical spiral binding makes the book easy to use and children can produce an end result of which they can be really proud. Excellent. * Parents in Touch * Budding Botticelli or stick figure doodler? Never again be stumped by a blank page. * Metro London * Creative types will love Write And Draw Your Own Comics with tips and ideas for pictures and stories. * The Sunday Express * Lots of advice on storylines... and stickers to help the blank pages become something to show off with pride. * Newbury Weekly News * This is another really superb educational book from Usborne which not only gives children a fascinating insight into the world of comics, but also encourages them to get creative themselves...just brilliant! * First4Dads * This wonderfully designed and incredibly easy-to-follow book helps budding cartoonists to imagine and put together their own comic strips. * Lancashire Evening Post * We absolutely loved the spiral-bound "lay-flat" presentation of "Write and Draw your Own Comics"... Having sets of stickers to use was fun too, and it's so full of brilliant advice (even stuffed into the margins) and great artwork and presentation, that we couldn't fault it at all... This would be the perfect book if your children are slightly younger, and haven't had a go at creating comics yet. There are so many nifty little tips and shortcuts in it that will get them off to a cracking start. * Read It Daddy *
