Author Biography

Laura Hughes is an exciting young Hastings-based illustrator. Originally from Bath, she studied illustration at Kingston University and, since graduating, has created artwork for children's books, cards, stationery and homeware. We're Going on an Egg Hunt was Laura's first book for Bloomsbury, followed by the hugely successful We're Going on an Elf Chase and Hop Little Bunnies. Martha Mumford has loved children's books forever. Her mother was a librarian, which gave her access to a wonderful array of books from a very early age. She has written four Royal Baby picture books for Bloomsbury. Martha lives in Berkshire with her husband and young daughters.

This story was a hit with my children. We've loved the Easter and Christmas versions of this story and We're Going on a Treasure Hunt is just as much fun! Hughes' artwork is bright, adorable and engaging, and her bunnies made lovely pirates. When we finished reading, my children immediately asked if we could go on a treasure hunt of our own, so this is a story which creates lots of opportunities for imaginative play * NetGalley reviewer * We're Going On A Treasure Hunt is the fourth book in the 'We're Going On A ...' collection and we absolutely love these books * PlayDays&Runaways * Martha Mumford and Laura Hughes are a dream team with their lift the flap bunny stories.
