Author Biography

Michael Rosen is a hugely successful author of every sort of children's book - picture books, poetry, fiction and non-fiction. He is frequently heard on radio and gives talks and lectures on children's literature. Michael was the Children's Laureate for 2007-2009 and the winner of the Eleanor Farjeon Award. He lives in London. David Tazzyman is the bestselling illustrator of the Mr Gum books (Egmont) which have won a multitude of awards, including the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. David grew up in Leicester, and studied illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has also illustrated the picture books You Can't Take an Elephant on the Bus and The Truth According to Arthur for Bloomsbury. He lives in Leicestershire with his partner and their three children.
