Author Biography

Sean Taylor has written more than 40 books for young readers. These include picture books such as How to be Cooler than Cool, Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise and I Want to Be in a Scary Story, illustrated by Jean Jullien, A Brave Bear, illustrated by Emily Hughes and Don't Call Me Choochie Pooh!, illustrated by Kate Hindley. Although Sean was writing poetry long before he wrote picture books, this is his very first poetry collection for children. Find Sean online at seantaylorstories.com and on Twitter as @seantstories. Anuska Allepuz studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca in Spain and the Academia di Belle Arti di Carrara in Italy, before undertaking postgraduate illustration courses at EINA, Barcelona and the Cambridge School of Art. A rising talent in the world of illustration, Anuska has been highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for Children's Illustration, shortlisted for the 2012 and 2014 AOI awards, and has had her work exhibited at the Bologna Book Fair.
