ReviewsCaptures with uncanny skill a child's voice, enthusiasm, and spontaneity. * Publisher's Weekly * A gift of a picture book that's at once nostalgic and fresh. * Kirkus * "Spirited, inclusive and the ideal gift for a small child whose birthday is fast approaching; a 'happy, happy day' for sure." * Red Reading Hub * "[...] a very realistic representation of the excitement of pending birthdays in childhood. Christian Robinson's illustrations cleverly hark back to a bygone era in their simplicity. His use of different visuals and photographed textures is wonderful." * Reading Zone *
