Author Biography

Smriti Halls worked for the BBC and began a career in children's publishing and television as a writer and commissioning editor. She then went on to write her pwn books in 2012. She has since had books published in 25 languages for various publishers. Smriti was born in South India and now lives in London with her family and one well behaved dragon named Doris. Ella Ostad is an illustrator based in based in Trondheim, Norway. She graduated from Kent Institute of Art and Design Maidstone UK in 2000 and has since worked with publishers and design agencies in Norway, UK and US. Her books have been translated into over 15 languages. She illustrated the bestselling picture book, Sophie Johnson: Unicorn Expert.
