Author Biography

Paul Bright is a writer of picture books and poetry for children. His second book, Quiet! was shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book Award, and Crunch Munch Dinosaur Lunch was shortlisted for the Red House Book Award. Brian Sibley is a writer, broadcaster and radio dramatist. The author of Three Cheers for Pooh, he edited The Pooh Sketchbook and The Pooh Book of Quotations and has written, lectured and broadcast on the work of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard. Kate Saunders has written numerous books for adults and children. Her books for children have won awards and received rave reviews, and include Beswitched and The Whizz Pop Chocolate Shop. In 2015, Kate won the Costa Children's Prize for Five Children on the Western Front, a sequel to E Nesbit's Five Children and It. Jeanne Willis wrote her first book aged five and has now written over three hundred titles including The Bog Baby and Dr Xargle's Book of Earthlets. She has won numerous awards, including the Children's Book Award, the Silver Smarties Prize and has been shortlisted for the Whitbread Award.
