Description

Now, there's a new way for readers to discuss their passions, with the release of a new game, The Art of Conversation: Literary Edition. Following the success of their original games, creators Louise Howland and Keith Lamb have adapted the concept to offer new angles and avenues to think, and talk, about books. This game comes with 300 starter questions plus a 32-page guidebook that includes informative and comprehensive endnotes. It has been carefully developed and researched by the creators, with the assistance of well-respected literature teacher Leila Bryant - there's plenty of scope to come up with your own questions. Like all TAOC editions, it's not a quiz - it's not about who knows the most. It's a communication tool that draws on your own experiences, thoughts and reactions to facilitate fascinating discussions.

Reviews

Judy Hill Perfect for book clubs Reading is one of my biggest passions, and I've been a consistent member of various book clubs since high school. I recently introduced this game to my current club and we all really enjoyed it. Everyone, but particularly the senior members of the group loved the 'game' style feel of it, and it really helped some of the newer members get involved since they're still getting their feet wet and sometimes have difficulty vocalizing their thoughts and feelings. This is the third TAOC game I own and am looking at completing the set. I highly recommend TAOC! Kevin Thanks!!! I never use to read novels, but a new friend is really passionate about them. Wanting to be able to share that with her, I've been trying to get more into reading. As I've had success with other TAOC products I decided to give this literary one a go. It's helped a lot. I am learning, and now I at least sound like I know what I'm talking about. Best of all we're having fun together, and I'm actually enjoying reading. Thanks!!!
