Author Biography

STAN LEE is a legendary American comics writer, editor, and theformer president and chairman of Marvel Comics. He has conceived morebillion-dollar franchises than any other creator. He is the writer of the Spider-Mansyndicated newspaper strip, which appears in more than 500 newspapersworldwide, making it the longest running superhero strip. Lee pioneered thehow-to-draw comics category with the 1978 publication of the bestselling How toDraw Comics the Marvel Way and has gone on to author three other books oncomics creation. He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2008.
