She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up as the youngest of three girls, surrounded by art, music and books. Laura now lives in Los Angeles, California. Lynn Munsinger is the popular illustrator of dozens of children's books including Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester and What Mommies Do Best/What Daddies Do Best by Laura Numeroff.
