Description

Beloved Scandinavian designer Lotta Jansdotter shows how easy it is to print on fabric and paper using stencils, rubber stamps, homemade screens, found objects, and other easy techniques. Beautiful photographs inspire while stepby- step instructions and illustrations explain the basics. Plus, Lotta's included ready-to-use stencil pages of her hand-drawn patterns so crafters can easily achieve her signature style. Projects range from super simple potato prints that children would enjoy, to more involved screen printing projects for experienced artists.

Author Biography

Scandinavian-born Lotta Jansdotter is a self-taught designer. She launched her company out of her small San Francisco apartment in 1996, quickly establishing a strong local following. Now she works from her studio in Brooklyn, New York, where she sells her products and designs online and to hundreds of stores across the globe. She has expanded her product line of home accessories to include stationery, cushions, handbags, ceramics, table linens, and more. Simple Sewing is a previous book by Jansdotter.
