George and his sister Lotta have found a new slug friend named Speedy. They can't wait to introduce him to the family, but Speedy has other plans. He escapes! Nici Gregory started illustrating whilst still in primary school,drawing in the margins of her exercise books. After studying graphic design, she went on to work as an in-house illustrator for a marketing firm. When she realised her work in the margins (mostly animals in fancy clothes) continued to be her best work, she decided to leave the world of marketing for a career in creating animal characters for children. She has never looked back. Where's Speedy? is the first book she has both written and illustrated.
