Frolic and Detour

Although Frolic and Detour is Paul Muldoon's thirteenth book, it has all the passion and provocation we more often associate with a first collection. Paul Muldoon was born in County Armagh in 1951. He is the author of twelve books of poetry including Moy Sand and Gravel, for which he received the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. Since 1987 he has lived in the United States, where he is the Howard G. B. Clark Professor in the Humanities at Princeton University.
