Peter Sis blends a true story from his childhood with the fictional adventure of Robinson Crusoe to create a magical picture book filled with heart and imagination that readers will want to return to again and again.
Author Biography
Peter Sis journeyed to Martinique, the inspiration for the island where Robinson Crusoe was marooned, to research the flora and fauna for this book. When he isn't travelling the globe, he creates books and fine art that can be seen in galleries, museums and public spaces around the world.
