This book forms the Proceedings of the International Conference held in Vienna in November 1992 dealing with ageing, fatigue and fracture of concrete and concrete structures. Special sections cover demolition and recycling, and anchorage engineering. As well as selected international contributions, five specially invited plenary papers are included from Austria, Spain, Japan, Denmark and Sweden. The book presents the latest international research in fracture and damage of concrete and rock, with a view to improving understanding of the basic mechanical and physical principles, and with particular emphasis on applications in construction engineering and mining engineering.
