Description

A forbidden love . . . an unparalleled passion . . . a romance for the ages . . . She is a successful urban woman, an uptight and serious black girl who fought her way through law school to become an Assistant DA. Though she likes to hang with her close friends, she doesn't cut loose. When it comes to men, she's got her standards. Ivory is not her style. But one night, while out on the town, she meets him, the white guy with the irresistible black man swagger. He's got family money and a flashy car, and he likes to walk the edge. He gets what he wants . . . and he wants her. What they share is hot, raw, and dangerous-beyond his wildest fantasies and her most private dreams. But as she discovers, her man isn't quite what he seems. Now she's being pressured to betray him. She knows it's the right thing to do. There's only one problem-she's got a secret that make her vulnerable. And she's fallen in love. . . .

Author Biography

Mother, wife, and best-selling author Wendy Williams burst onto the national talk show scene in July 2009 with the launch of the syndicated weekday program, "The Wendy Williams Show." Called a "breakthrough in daytime" by The New York Times, "The Wendy Williams Show," which airs in 52 countries, and is now in its third season, has just been renewed on Fox through 2014. Prior to achieving success in daytime television, Williams built a devoted audience of fans with an enormously successful 23-year career in radio. "The Wendy Williams Experience" was Williams' top-rated daily radio show.
