Description

Penny is creative. She is sweet. She is curious. Penny is Kevin Henkes's newest mouse, and she is cause for celebration! The New York Times has said that Caldecott Medalist Kevin Henkes's mouse books "number among the most acute social comedies for children this side of Beverly Cleary." Like Lilly, Owen, Chrysanthemum, and Wemberly-all acclaimed national best-sellers themselves-Penny has a loving family, including two baby siblings, and a problem to solve. In Penny and Her Song, Penny has a song she wants to share . . . but what if she wakes the babies Pitch-perfect, brightly colored, and positively special, Penny and Her Song is easy to love. Terrific to read alone, read aloud, or share together. Simultaneous plush doll available from Merrymakers.
