Description
You won't soon forget the cast of teen and adult characters in Naomi Shihab Nye's forty extremely short stories. Each and every story-all are just a few pages long-has the power to make a connection as well as deliver a laugh, a tear or two, a start of surprise, or a great big wallop to the gut. This is a book for readers who like to dip in and out and come and go, for reluctant readers, for the poet's many devoted fans, for writing teachers and their students, for teens and adults alike.
