Author Biography

Chris Tabraham is an archaeologist and historian who spent his 40-year career working as Inspector of Ancient Monuments for Historic Scotland. One of the foremost authorities on Scottish castles, he has directed excavations at several, and published numerous books and articles about them and Scottish history in general.
