British designer, Paul Smith, has created a stunning new limited edition 'box of delights' for his favourite classic children's book, Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things that Go. This deluxe box set is limited to 1000 copies, each signed by Paul Smith. Featuring a linen-covered box, a hardback edition of the book, 5 art prints in a portfolio and a hand-numbered and signed certificate of authenticity, the package also includes three press-out-and-make vehicles and a pop-up scene. All items have been designed exclusively for this edition. This classic book has been loved for 40 years and this limited edition set will surely be an heirloom for many generations to come.

Born in Boston in 1919, Richard Scarry's drawing talent led him to study at the Boston Museum School. He began his career in New York City as an illustrator and freelance artist, and in 1963 he published his first book, The Best Word Book Ever, which became an international best-seller.
