Get the Scoop originated from Scoop magazine, published in the UK by Curious Kids and edited by Clementine Macmillan-Scott (founder of Curious Publishing), Sarah Odedina (editor-at-large of Pushkin Press) and Shannon O'Reilly-Fearn. Affirm Press saw the opportunity to bring Scoop's fun and engaging magazine content to the Australian trade books market through a new series, Get the Scoop.
