Yvonne Morrison rewrites the Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer story, using the characters from A Kiwi Night Before Christmas. Brian is a new lamb born to a couple of the sheep that pull Santa's tractor. But Brian doesn't like rugby - or flying, for that matter. He'd much rather gaze at the stars than fly through them. But brainy Brian's talents prove essential when the team are fog-bound on Christmas Eve.

Yvonne Morrison is the author of A Kiwi Jingle Bells, Down in the Forest and the hugely successful A Kiwi Night Before Christmas. Yvonne lives in Napier where she and her husband enjoy teaching the dances of a bygone era. Deborah Hinde is the illustrator of A Kiwi Night Before Christmas and its successor A Kiwi Jingle Bells. Deborah lives in Te Awamutu where she works as a full-time illustrator.
