A lively African folktale about a complaining tree getting its comeuppance. Long ago, the gods created the Baobab tree... and the Baobab tree was not happy. It didn't like the weather, it resented the birds and animals and envied the other trees. Finally the gods tired of its constant complaints and took drastic action. Laura studied literature twice at university, so she's read a lot of books (always helpful when writing them). Before joining Usborne, she taught English in Barcelona, Dublin and Cambridge. She now lives in East London, where she regrets the lack of sun and sea.
